Gusto Untangles the Knots of 'On-Demand' Pay

Uber, Lyft, Doordash—odds are you've used these services once or twice in recent years. These types of services have created a new marketplace where requesting and paying for services come at the simple press of a button furthering our expectations for instant gratification.

With an on-demand economy fueling our desires, it is no wonder employees are looking for the same type of service when it comes to getting paid.

To help employers meet this demand, industry leader Gusto developed a program called 'cashout.' Cashout allows employees to borrow up to half of their paycheck (or $1,000 - whichever is a lesser value) and then pay back the loan from their paycheck when it's issued.

Gusto's banking partner, Sunrise Banks is providing the cashout loan, with Gusto is servicing this Cashout request. So, no adjustments are required in payroll and you, as the employer, are not responsible for anything beyond your normal day-to-day operations.

Cashout is a great value add-on benefit for your employees that has no direct cost to you the employer. If you're interested in adding cashout to your benefits package - reach out - or visit Gusto.com for more information.
